The queen is an interesting archetype, one of the most powerful and aligned with her feminine powers, because of this she can wield power and be a decision maker without losing any of her regal grace or feminine energy. The queen has this mesmerising ability to think big and create these visions for the future, and she knows how to turn theory into action and inspire the team with her vision.

This is a key attribute of the queen; she is adept a building a team or network to support her. This is a team she has sought out and trusts, making it easy for her to delegate effectively to be successful.

Strategic thinking

Not only does a leader who fits the queen archetype think big, but she is incredibly strategic, and plans her moves, each step working towards that big picture. She is not the executor of the plan, but she is the director.

Not Afraid to take risks

The queen is confident in her knowledge, and she believes in it, she knows that taking a risk may come with failure, and that’s ok, because it’s another steppingstone to success and more growth in her knowledge.

Empowering

If you’re in the queen’s team or circle, then she will be bringing you up with her; she will empower you to step into your power and your leadership. This leader might be in charge, but she does not see others as competition. Instead, she reminds them of their worth. Her motto is "we rise together."

When we think of notable women that lead with their queen energy, I think most are drawn to Michelle Obama. Prior to being the first lady of America, Michelle Obama had a career in law where her early leadership was on display when she was the vice-president for community and external affairs of the University of Chicago Medical Centre. Michelle Obama is the perfect example of a queen in her power; poised, confident, commanding, and empowering. In true queen form, her work is devoted to positively influencing her audience and actively encouraging the rise of others.
